About

Primo Tacos & Burritos is a casual Mexican spot on Palm Beach, wedged into the high-rise zone but keeping things simple and cheap. The price level is one dollar sign, and the perfect subratings across food, atmosphere, service, and value suggest the formula works — even if the four-review sample is still small. It's the kind of place that fills a gap when you're tired of resort dining and want a straightforward burrito or taco plate. The ranking at #96 out of 160 in Noord puts it solidly in the middle, but the scores tell a different story than the position. It's kid-friendly, no reservation needed, and the vibe skews toward quick service rather than lingering. If you're on Palm Beach and need something fast, filling, and under ten bucks, this handles it.

ABC Tours Aruba

From $130 per person

ABC Tours Aruba operates out of Oranjestad and has held the #3 spot among outdoor activities in the capital for a reason — it's a full-day commitment. The standard safari runs seven hours, which is longer than most competitors, and covers Arikok National Park, the natural pool, caves, and a handful of beaches in one loop. That scope explains the $150 price point, which is about double what shorter half-day land tours charge elsewhere on the island. The back-to-back Travelers Choice awards and the volume of reviews point to consistent execution, and the guides get mentioned often — not just for driving, but for pacing the day so it doesn't feel like a forced march. Families book this because the private routes skip the roughest terrain and can accommodate infants, which matters if you're trying to see the interior without bounce-testing a car seat. If you're on a cruise, ABC coordinates timing around port schedules. If you'd rather spend half the day at a beach club, this isn't that.

De Palm Tours

From $108 per person

De Palm Tours runs a private beach club on the west coast near Oranjestad, and it's built around water activities — think slides, banana boats, snorkeling gear, and a roped-off swimming area. The #5 ranking among Oranjestad transportation reflects that this isn't just a shuttle service; most visitors book the half-day beach package that includes cabanas, towels, and food service. The back-to-back Travelers Choice awards suggest consistency, and the 4.8 rating across 26,000+ reviews backs that up. The setup skews family-friendly. Kids get underwater activities in shallow zones, parents get palapas with shade and beverage service. It's beach entertainment, not wilderness — no natural pools or cave hikes like the UTV tours that head into Arikok. Duration runs around four hours, which is enough for the slides and a meal without burning the whole day. Note that the flamingo interactions cost extra, and cabana rentals are mandatory with the package. If you want inland exploration, this isn't it. If you want a contained beach day with activities included, it does the job.

RockaBeach Tours

From $162 per person

RockaBeach Tours runs out of Oranjestad and consistently pulls top marks — #7 among all outdoor activities in the area, with back-to-back Travelers Choice awards and a 4.9 from nearly 10,000 reviews. That's not a fluke. The four-hour water tour format gives you enough time to move around the coast without burning a whole day, and the intensity level lands somewhere in the middle — expect some sun and activity, but it's not an expedition. The price sits around $75, which is competitive for a half-day boat experience in Aruba. Most routes hit snorkeling spots and coastal sights that bigger operators skip, and the crew tends to keep group sizes manageable. Direct booking is available, so you skip the markup. If you want a water day that's more structured than renting gear on your own but less anonymous than the cruise-ship charters, this is the window.

Dushi Bagels and Burgers

Dushi Bagels and Burgers sits just off the beach at the Playa Linda Resort in Palm Beach, and the 4.6 rating across more than four thousand reviews isn't a fluke. This is the place that figured out how to do American breakfast and lunch basics right—bagels, burgers, grill staples—without overcomplicating things or overcharging. The atmosphere score is the highest of the bunch, which makes sense when you're eating pancakes ten feet from the sand. The #10 ranking among 155 restaurants in the Palm-Eagle Beach strip says it holds its own against a lot of fancier rooms. Service and value ratings match the food score straight across, so what you see is what you get. It's casual, it's kid-friendly, and it moves. If you're staying nearby and need a solid breakfast that isn't a buffet or a burger that isn't from a chain, this works.

Amore Mio Pizzeria Napoletana

Amore Mio sits along the hotel strip in Palm Beach, turning out Neapolitan-style pizza in a casual spot that pulls both tourists and repeat diners. The #18 ranking among 155 restaurants in the area isn't a fluke — the food rating sits at 4.6, and the atmosphere and service match it, which is rare for a pizza place on this strip. The menu centers on thin-crust pies cooked in a proper oven, plus pastas and Italian basics. It's not fancy, but the execution is consistent enough to keep the place busy most nights. Families show up regularly, and the mid-range pricing means you're not overpaying for the location. Walk-ins usually work, though calling ahead on weekends doesn't hurt. If you're tired of resort dining and want something straightforward, this is a solid option without the pretense.

Smokey Joe's

Smokey Joe's sits on the high-rise strip in Palm Beach, right where casual barbecue meets tourist traffic. The menu leans American and Caribbean — ribs, pulled pork, jerk chicken — and it's one of the few places on this stretch where a family can walk in without a reservation and still eat well. The 4.2 food rating holds across 5,000+ reviews, which says something about consistency when you're feeding that kind of volume. The vibe is reliably casual — picnic-table energy, nothing fancy — and the service keeps pace even when it's busy. The mid-range price tier means you're not paying resort markups, and the value subrating reflects that. It ranks #62 out of 155 in the area, which is solid for a barbecue spot competing against beachfront dining rooms with twice the budget. If you're staying nearby and want smoke, spice, and no dress code, this works.

Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino

The Aruba Marriott sits on L.G. Smith Boulevard in Palm Beach, right where the high-rise strip meets the sand. It's a full-scale resort with a casino attached, so expect crowds, especially around the pool and lobby bars. The 4.7 cleanliness rating and 4.6 service score suggest the operation runs tight despite the size, and sleep quality holds at 4.5, which matters when you're paying top-tier rates. It ranks #20 out of 26 hotels in the Palm-Eagle Beach zone, so it's middle-of-the-pack for the area — the location and service scores pull it up, the value rating at 4.2 reflects what you're spending. If you want the Marriott reliability and don't mind resort-scale energy, it works. The beach access is the real asset here; Palm Beach is wide and swimmable, and you're walking distance to most of the strip's restaurants and bars.

Barcelo Aruba - All Inclusive

Barceló Aruba sits on Palm Beach, the high-rise hotel strip on the northwest coast, and it's fully all-inclusive — drinks, meals, non-motorized watersports, the works. The 4.7 location score tells you what you're paying for: direct beach access and walking distance to the casinos, shops, and other resorts that make Palm Beach the busiest stretch of sand on the island. It ranks #5 among Noord hotels with over 12,000 reviews, so you're looking at volume and consistency more than boutique charm. Service and cleanliness both land above 4.3, which matters when you're dealing with buffet lines and pool crowds. Sleep quality and rooms sit at 4.2 and 4.1 — solid but not exceptional. The value subrating is the lowest at 3.9, which tracks for a top-tier all-inclusive on prime real estate. If you want to park yourself on Palm Beach and not think about meal planning or bar tabs, this does the job. Just know you're trading some refinement for convenience and location.

Palm Beach

Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino

The Hyatt Regency sits on Palm Beach, right in the thick of the high-rise strip. It's earned back-to-back Travelers Choice awards and consistently ranks in the top half of Palm Beach properties — not leading the pack at #14, but comfortably above average with a 4.4 overall rating across more than 7,000 reviews. The location score is the real standout at 4.8, which tracks; you're steps from the beach and surrounded by restaurants and tour operators. The resort runs full-service — spa, casino, multiple pools — so it attracts families and couples who want options without leaving the property. Cleanliness scores high at 4.6, and service hovers at 4.5, suggesting the staff keeps things moving despite the volume. Sleep quality and room ratings sit at 4.4 and 4.3 respectively, which is solid if unremarkable at this price tier. Value scores lowest at 4.0, so expect to pay for the convenience and name. If you want Palm Beach proximity and don't need boutique intimacy, it does the job.

Lola Taqueria

Lola Taqueria is tucked into a strip along Palm Beach's high-rise corridor, but it doesn't feel like hotel dining. The Mexican and international menu pulls off something tricky — it's casual enough for families mid-vacation, but the food scores nearly as high as the atmosphere, which is saying something given the 4.9 subrating. The Travelers Choice nod and top-15 ranking among 155 restaurants in the Palm-Eagle Beach area aren't decorative; over 2,000 reviews hold a 4.7 average, and that kind of consistency across service, value, and taste doesn't happen by accident. It's the kind of place where you can walk in without a reservation and not feel like you're compromising. The price sits in the mid-range, and the room skews relaxed without sliding into generic beach-town taco joint territory. If you're staying on the strip and want something better than the hotel buffet without driving across the island, this is the move.

Palm Beach

Senor Frog's Aruba

Señor Frog's sits on J.E. Irausquin Boulevard in Palm Beach, and it holds the #1 spot among Noord restaurants — not what you'd expect from a chain party bar, but the subratings back it up. Perfect 5.0s for atmosphere and service, 4.8 for food and value. The vibe is casual, the menu runs Mexican and international, and the price tier is budget-friendly. It's loud, it's fun, and kids are welcome, which makes it one of the few spots on the high-rise strip where a family dinner won't feel out of place. The kitchen turns out more than you'd think for a party-first concept, and the staff clearly knows how to move a room. No reservations needed, which cuts both ways — you can walk in, but so can everyone else. If you want a sit-down meal on Palm Beach without the resort markup, this works.
