About
Affiliate disclosure
One Happy Aruba is an independent travel guide. We don't charge readers and we don't take money to feature a resort, restaurant, beach, or activity. Instead, when you click an outbound link and book through a partner, that partner pays us a commission. The price you pay is the same either way.
Who pays us
We work with a small number of booking partners that aggregate inventory across many operators:
- Stay22 — hotel and resort bookings. Pays a small cut of the room rate, typically a few percent.
- Viator — tours and excursions. Pays a commission on completed bookings, usually 8–10%.
- GetYourGuide — alternative tours / activities partner. Similar commission structure.
What this changes
Nothing about what we recommend. The matching algorithm scores entities on structured attributes — vibe, price tier, walkability, kid-friendliness, dietary fit, and so on — and the editorial picks on entity pages are hand-curated by humans who have actually been to Aruba. Partner payouts are not a scoring input.
How to opt out
If you'd rather not have us earn a commission on your booking, don't click the partner CTAs. Each entity page includes a link to its original TripAdvisor listing in the footer; you can book directly through the operator from there. The content is the same.
