What is the ED Card and when do I need to fill it out?
Updated May 21, 2026
The answer
Aruba requires every visitor — including U.S. citizens and children — to submit an Embarkation/Disembarkation (ED) card online before arrival. It's free at edcardaruba.aw. Submit at least 24 hours before departure (48 to be safe). You'll get a confirmation email; screenshot it or print it. Each traveler files their own, and you'll need passport details, flight info, and your Aruba accommodation address. If you forget, you can fill it out at the airport, but lines are long and it stresses the start of the trip. Anyone charging you a 'service fee' to file it is a third-party reseller — you don't need them.
