Many steep stairs, our legs were jelly by the time we got down. You'd be wise to bring some water. Of the several groups we saw, 4 didn't make it all the way up. Beautiful and breezy once you summit, but it will be challenging for some folks to reach the top. Only 20% of the stair climb has a hand rail, which seemed insufficient to me.
